The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has announced special resit/supplementary examinations for all level 400 students of Colleges of Education who have failed papers to resit.
The Institute for Teacher Education and Continuing Professional Development (ITECPD) of the university made this announcement as part of efforts to ensure level 400 students pursuing 4-year degree programs in the various colleges of education resit all subjects they have trailed before leaving school.
The Resit/Supplementary Examinations for Level 400 Students, according to the ITECPD of the university, aim at helping graduating students to clear all trailed subjects before their graduation.
This was contained in a letter dated, 16th January, 2025 and addressed to the 46 principals of the Colleges of Education in the country.
This decision was also in line with Regulation 4.2.3 of the Undergraduate Students Handbook on Rules and Regulations.
Regulation 4.2.3 states that “Any level 400 student who trails course(s) shall be given the opportunity to resit the trailed courses before graduation.”
All affected students are to note that the special resit and supplementary examinations have already been scheduled from Monday, February 3, 2025, to Friday, February 7, 2025.
