UG Medical School Directives to Shortlisted Applicants

The University of Ghana has announced its directives to Medical School-shortlisted applicants for admission into the 2023–2024 academic year. Students will be required to be present for their entrance examination to be held at the New N-Block at the University of Ghana, Legon, Main Campus, NOT KORLE BU, by 7.00 AM on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 for the written examinations.

1. Applicants are to pay GHC 250 to the following account:
   University of Ghana Medical School
   GCB Korle Bu Branch
   Acc. No: 1131180000772The narration should read UGMS Entrance Examinations, Name, UG Serial Number
2. Applicants are to come to the New N-Block at the University of Ghana, Legon, Main Campus, NOT KORLE BU, by 7.00 AM on Tuesday, 2 January 2024 for the WRITTEN EXAMINATIONS
3. Students to bring along the following:

• Pay in Slip or receipt of payment.
• Photo ID-Passport, Ghana Card, NHIS Card, Voters ID, Driver’s license (Any of them)
• All applicants except WASSCE candidates should bring along copies of their results.
• 2 2B or HB pencils with Erasers and Sharpeners
• Non-programmable calculators

4. Watches and Mobile Phones are not allowed in the Examination Halls
5. Applicants are NOT to pay any monies to third persons and should beware of confident tricksters and con men who offer to help them.
6. Specific venues for the written examinations will be available on Notice Boards at the College of Health Sciences, Korle Bu, from Wednesday 29th December 2023.
7. INTERVIEWS will be held on Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th January 2024.
8. Interview lists will be available on notice boards at the College of Health Sciences (CHS) by Friday, 29th December 2023.
9. All students shortlisted will sit the Entrance Examinations and will be interviewed.
