UG students are not observing COVID-19 protocols according to Dr. Abubakari Siddiq Ahmed.
He disclosed this on Radio Univers, (105.7 FM) during a program monitored by Ghanaeducation.org.
Dr. Abubakar Sidiq whiles contributing to a discussion on COVID-19 said the unwillingness of many Ghanaians to adhere to the protocols is worrying.
He disclosed that students at the University of Ghana are not wearing nose masks as required of them per the directives of the government and the rules put in place by the university.
Students are hugging opening and not observing social distancing he asserted.
He called on students to for once listen to leadership and fall in line.
In the 22nd National Address, Nana Akuffo Addo indicated that the failure of students to observe the protocols will leave him with no option other than to return the country to a partial lockdown.
