UPDATE: Nana Agradaa Arrested By Ghana Police
Nana Agradaa has been rrested By Ghana Police and this is the latest development since the viral video made headlines.
Evangelist Mama Pat, also known as Nana Agradaa, has been detained by the Ghana Police Service in connection with fraudulent operations she committed on her churchgoers in Weija.
The Service stated this in a statement released on its social media accounts on Sunday, October 9, 2022.
According to a police statement:
PATRICIA ASIEDUA ALIAS NANA AGRADAA ARRESTED
THE POLICE HAVE ARRESTED PATRICIA ASIEDUA ALIAS NANA AGRADAA FOLLOWING ALLEGATIONS OF MONEY DOUBLING SCAM LEVELLED AGAINST HER BY SOME MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC.
THE SUSPECT IS CURRENTLY ASSISTING POLICE INVESTIGATION.
ANYONE WHO IS A VICTIM OF THE ALLEGED MONEY DOUBLING SCAM SHOULD REPORT TO THE ACCRA REGIONAL POLICE COMMAND FOR FURTHER ACTION TO ASSIST THE INVESTIGATION
She allegedly drove the attendees away from the church after completing her goal, triggering internet outrage.

Meanwhile, the police have asked everyone who has been impacted by the alleged fraud to go to the Accra Regional Police Command to assist with the investigation.
