US Dollar to Ghanaian Cedi Exchange Rate for Today Jan 3rd 2023

US Dollar to Ghanaian Cedi Exchange Rate for Today Jan 3rd 2023 and those Pounds and Euro rates for banks and from the Bank of Ghana are out and shows that the Cedi has depreciated against the dollar.

The Bank of Ghana Interbank rates have appreciated in favour of the dollar by some 20P on 3rd January 2023 per the interbank rates quoted.

Until the first business day in 2023, the BoG has been quoting GHS8.30 to GHS8.31 for the buy and sell rate for the dollar. However, its January 3rd rates went up by nearly 20P. for buy and sell rates.

Dollar –  Buying rate ($1 to GHS8.571) and Selling rate ($1 to GHS8.580)

Pounds –  Buying rate (£1 to GHS10.305) and Selling rate  (£1 to GHS10.317)

Euro –  Buying rate (€1 to GHS9.1412) and Selling rate (€1 to GHS9.1502)

However, the rates by Afriswap Forex Bureau are GHS11.00 as buying rate and GHS12.00 as the selling rate.

At the GCB, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS9.00  and the sell rate was GHS11.60.

At the Stanbic Bank, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS9.00 and the sell rate was GHS11.00

At the ABSA, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS8.70 and the sell rate was GHS10.90

At Fidelity Bank, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS9 and the sell rate was GHS11.80. 

At the CalBank, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS9.00  and the sell rate was GHS11.71

At the Binance P2P, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS10.56 and the sell rate was GHS11.15

At the Ghana Association of Forex Bureaux, the Buy rate for the dollar was GHS10.50 and the sell rate was GHS11.20
