The US Dollar to Ghanaian Exchange Rate Shoots Up Once Again After It Dropped to $1 to 12.20 in Forex bureaus on Friday.
Before falling, the Dollar had sold for GHS12.40 in forex bureaus and all banks had quoted higher rates.
On Saturday, 15th April, the exchange rates seemed to have stabilized but at the time of this publication, the rates quoted by Banks show US Dollar to Ghanaian Exchange Rate in some banks crossed the GHS11.00 mark on Sunday, 16th April 2023. Access Bank for instance quoted a buying rate of GHS11.00 per dollar and a selling rate of GHS11.90 per dollar.

Our checks from Google showed a mid-rate of GHS11.80 per dollar which is an increase of 50p per dollar from the rate quoted on Saturday. The current US Dollar to Ghanaian Exchange Rate quoted by Google is $ to GHS11.80
Forex Bureaus are likely to review their exchange rates upwards on Monday 17th April 2023. Reliable exchange rates quoted by Afriswap Forex Bureau are still those quoted on Saturday, 15th April 2023,
