The Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA) for gospel artist of the year went to Piesie Esther. At the Accra International Conference Centre, the most prestigious Ghanaian music awards, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), are currently holding their 24th annual ceremony.
Gospel musicians who were fighting for the slot of the Best Gospel Artist of the Year include; Piesie Esther, Joe Mettle, Perez Muzik, Diana Hamilton, Celestine Donkor, and MOG Music.
Piesie Esther won the category for Best Gospel Artist with her song “Waye me yie”.
