[Video] “I will slap you next time” – Whitemoney warns Street Beggars for Asking him Money

In a recent video that has caught the attention of many, Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney, the winner of Big Brother Naija season 6 and an emerging singer, shared a moment of frustration with a group of street beggars asking him for money.

The businessman and reality TV star was seen warning the beggars who seem to have made it a habit to target his car for money.

Whitemoney’s frustration stemmed from the continuous approach by these individuals, asking for money each time they spot him.

In the video, he didn’t mince words, expressing how this behavior has become a nuisance and something he could no longer tolerate in silence.

Reflecting on his own journey and struggles, he pointed out that the hardships faced by the beggars were not alien to him, hinting at a shared experience of life’s difficulties among people from various walks of life.

However, the tone shifted as Whitemoney issued a stern warning to the beggars, indicating that their repeated actions would force him to react differently in the future.

“If I give una money today and una come again, I no go give una cos this thing happen every time. Wetin you dey go through, I dey go through am. If I give you money today and tomorrow you come again, I come down wonze you slap,” he declared, highlighting his dwindling patience and the potential for a physical response if pushed further.

Despite the heated moment, Whitemoney also took the opportunity to address his followers and the broader audience, shedding light on the challenges that come with fame. With a reflective caption, “Do you still wanna be famous??!”, he prompted his audience to think about the realities of celebrity life beyond the glitz and glamour, revealing that such encounters with beggars are a regular occurrence for him.

Clarifying a misunderstanding among his critics, he added, “For those saying it’s 1k you must be blind honestly, I folded 10k and gave them, how will I give 1k to over 8 to 10 people am not heartless like most of you here ”.

This response highlights Whitemoney’s generosity and counters the narrative that his reaction was out of stinginess, rather portraying it as a plea for respect and understanding from those who seek his help.
