The Christian Community in Ghana led by the clergy has warned politicians that if they make the mistake to vote against the successful passing of the Anti-LGBTQ+ Law, Ghanaians will vote the NPP government out of power in the 2024 general elections.
The Christian Community led by the church of Pentecost has indicated that the churches in Ghana and their members will be staging a mammoth protest on the streets against all actors working against the passage of the Anti-LGBTQ+ Law.
“We are going to cause our people to come on the street, in their numbers, and we are going to warn any government that if you vote against the passage of the Anti-LGBTQ+ Law, we will vote you out” The clergy indicates while granting an interview on the matter. They added that the decision to vote the NPP government out if it kicks against the bill is not political but rather, it will be a move by the church and Ghanaians to protect the future of the nations, godly values, cultural values, and human dignity. “Anyone who wants to destroy this nation, will not be allowed to rule us. We have to take and preserve the values and principles of God on the streets,” they added.
All Christians have been called upon to arise and join the protest when it is organized. The men of God believe the numbers that joint the protest will send the strongest signal of the nation to the presidency and the ruling government not to mess up.
Leaders of the Christian faith have indicated their dissatisfaction with the way President Akufo-Addo has not been able to remain stable and clear in his submissions to the international community on the LGBTQ+ issue, which become a topical issue when Kamala D. Harris, the Vice President of the US, visited Ghana recently.
The leadership of the church furthered that, the Anti-LGBTQ+ Law remains an important law that will ensure the values of Ghanaian culture and godliness are preserved and protected.
In a related development, Lawyer Moses Foah Amoaning, The Executive Secretary of the National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values has reacted to comments made by Prof. Tartwuaah Menu and invited her to an open debate on LGBTQ+ which Prof. Tartwuaah Menu is championing against the will of the Ghanaian people.
Lawyer Moses Foah Amoaning who has practised for not less than 34 years as a lawyer has indicated that, the Anti-LGBTQ+ Law is an important statute that must see the light of day to help protect the Ghanaian people, values, and culture.
Moses Foah added that they know those who are behind the effort to kick against the passage of the Anti-LGBTQ+ bill into law in Ghana.
He added that the Anti-LGBTQ+ bill was scrutinized by competent and respected judges and lawyers at the bar and that the content of the bill had passed the litmus paper test to be a law in Ghana aimed at protecting the citizenry.
He explained the acts that homosexuals engage in and used that to support the call for the passage of the Anti-LGBTQ+ bill, which will also protect those who have been negatively affected by their involvement in the acts that the law seeks to stop.

The lawyer furthered that, the Anti-LGBTQ+ bill is not in any way a hate bill as those pushing for LGBTQ+ practices want the public to believe and that 99% of people who practice homosexual acts and have come to the National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values for help have turned out to be HIV/AIDS positive, yet, they have continued to help them by financing their medical bills and giving them the best Holistic Sexual System Therapy to deal with their difficulties.
