The West African Examination Council (WAEC) releases the WASSCE SC 2023 withheld results update and has invited all candidates alleged to have engaged in any form of examination malpractices to report for a final investigation.
The update, which was released on April 12, 2024, revealed that all candidates whose names and index numbers and schools have been attached to the notice are to report to the designated WAEC regional offices to assist with investigations.
What are the WASSCE SC 2023 Withheld Results WAEC Investigations Dates?
All affected candidates are to report for the said investigation on 15th April, 2024 and 18th April,2024.
WAEC expect students whose names are on the list to be present. However, WAEC will determine their faith if they absent themselves from the investigation encounter with WAEC officials, leaving WAEC with no other option than for WAEC to take a decision without their presence.
“Candidates are hereby informed that their refusal to honour this invitation shall not preclude the council from making a final determination on the cases.” The statement indicated.
All such candidates are to report to their respective regional offices in the company of their parents.

The underlisted candidates, who took part in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School, 2023 and had their results withheld due to alleged involvement in examination irregularities, are kindly invited to the WAEC Regional Offices where they wrote the examination between 15th April, 2024 and 18th April, 2024. They are to be accompanied by their parents/guardians.
The invitation is to assist the Council to conclude its investigations into the alleged irregularities.
Candidates are hereby informed that their refusal to honor this invitation shall not preclude the council form making a final determination on the cases.
