The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released some withheld 2024 WASSCE results for school candidates after the conclusion of its investigations. It has also released a new list of names of candidates who must attend its regional investigations to complete its works on such matters.
All candidates and schools whose results WAEC withheld for some or all subjects are to visit the WAEC results portal to check their results.
A reliable source stated, “Some of the pending and withheld 2024 WASSCE results have been released.”

WAEC disclosed when it released the provisional results that it was withholding the subject results of 781 students and the results of 209 schools for various suspected offenses. It furthered that it also withheld the results of 319 schools for alleged collusion and that the cases were under investigation.

CANDIDATES TO ASSIST WITH INVESTIGATIONS INTO EXAMINATION IRREGULARITIES.
The underlisted candidates, who took part in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates, 2024 and had their results withheld due to alleged involvement in examination irregularities, are kindly invited to the WAEC Regional Offices, where they wrote the examination on the assigned dates indicated by their names. They are to be accompanied by their parents/guardians.
The investigation will start on 27th January with the first batch, while the second batch will be held on 28th January, 2025. Candidates who have been invited are to check their names, index numbers, and date from the list provided by WAEC and ensure they attend the session on time.
The invitation is to assist the Council in concluding its investigations into the alleged irregularities.
Candidates are hereby informed that their refusal to honour this invitation shall not preclude the council from finalising the cases. Candidates are further informed to come along with their parents/guardians.
