What BECE and WASSCE candidates can do to pass their exam while teachers strike

Have you as a student thought of “What BECE and WASSCE candidates can do to pass the exam while teachers are on strike”?
What we share here can be described as How to pass BECE and WASSCE strategies.
The strike action by teachers is already affecting BECE and WASSCE candidates who are getting ready for the upcoming final examination in August and October 2022.
While teachers are on strike demanding for the COLA, students need to map up a strategy to make good use of the time.
Let us look at what BECE and WASSCE candidates can do while teachers are on strike: How to pass BECE and WASSCE strategies.
1. Every class has students who are good in one subject or the other. There are also students who study in groups.
Candidates can plan effective use of the time by putting good students in charge of the teaching of subjects or special topics. This can be followed by discussions or short quizzes in groups or at the individual level.
2. BECE and WASSCE candidates can also discuss topics using a horseshoe arrangement of desks, instead of the usual all-face-one-side arrangement in schools. Such discussions allow both good and average students to share ideas and remove artificial boundaries from the classroom.
Students should be paired or should sit such that they blend among themselves. All the so-called brilliant guys in the class should not sit at one side of the class, leaving the rest to feel inferior.
3. Candidates should organize tests on specific topics, but announce the topics a day or two ahead of the trial test. Again, since the topic would be announced, the pass mark for the test should be set very high to challenge every member to prepare very well.
4. Candidates are to discuss the test questions right after the test. This would help all to appreciate what the answers are and the best way to attempt the questions.
5. For candidates in SHS, organizing an inter-program challenge in the core subjects during contact hours can be helpful.
6. Candidates should also challenge themselves, and dedicate themselves to learning and then teaching others. This helps you to retain more of the facts than learning to keep the knowledge to yourself.
