Why a condom company is sponsoring Nacee ’s gospel concert

Renowned gospel singer and producer, Nacee, has opened up about the unique sponsorship choice for his inaugural concert, Kavod, revealing that a condom company, Total Family Health Organisation (TFHO), the producer of Ebony Condoms, is among the event’s sponsors.

In an interview on Joy Prime’s ‘Prime Morning,’ Nacee shed light on the decision to allow a condom company to support his gospel concert, emphasizing that having TFHO as a sponsor not only promotes their products but also contributes to making a profit. The financial gains, in turn, enable both employees and employers to contribute to their church tithes, supporting the Kingdom of God.

Nacee stressed the importance of financial resources in advancing the Kingdom, stating, “At the end of the day, we need money to push the kingdom. We buy Bibles.”

Addressing the sponsorship from the condom company,  Nacee explained the consideration for women’s health. He noted that some women, facing allergies to contraceptive pills, might opt for condoms as a means of preventing pregnancy.

“Females are very sensitive beings. God created you guys differently, and your hormonal balance is kind of totally different. Most of you are not okay with those contraceptive pills when you take them,” he remarked.

Nacee further explaining why a condom company decided to support his gospel concert added that married individuals, experiencing reactions to contraceptive pills, might resort to condoms as a viable alternative for preventing unplanned pregnancies. When questioned about the possibility of distributing condoms at the concert, Nacee humorously suggested, “I’m sure the company will provide some giveaways.”

The Kavod Concert 2023 marks Nacee’s first venture into hosting events since transitioning to gospel music. He explained that “Kavod” translates to ‘The terrifying glory of God,’ aligning with the chosen theme to reflect the awe-inspiring attributes of God on the event day.
