Yes, Akufo Addo’s Ears Are For Decoration – Sam George Fires
In a recent interview with Metro TV, a lawmaker said that a president is a person who doesn’t give up easily.
“The president puts his hands over his ears, so he can’t hear us. If the president hears and listens, he should forget about the NDC and change Ken Ofori-Atta, which is what his own party is telling him. He doesn’t hear, that’s for sure. His ears look pretty.
His ears are just for looks; he doesn’t use them to hear. “There’s something in the president’s ear, and we’ll get it out on December 7,” he said.
“How can you be president when the whole country is telling you to go in one direction and you’re the only one who says no? Why, do you want to live there?” ‘Why?’ he asked.
Sam Nartey George was talking while the NDC’s Greater Accra Regional Executives election was going on.
He went on to say that President Akufo-Addo was an incompetent man who didn’t know how to run the country.
“The man doesn’t know anything, he’s not good at anything, and he’s had enough. The man has no idea at all. Get rid of your cousin who is ruining the country, because this too has turned into a fight. I mean, he’s more interested in flying private jets and speaking with a cockerel accent, but when it comes to his real job, he has no idea,” he said.
There has been a lot of pressure on President Akufo-Addo to fire his minister of finance because of the country’s rising inflation and economic problems.
Members of parliament from the president’s party, the New Patriotic Party, are the latest group to call for the minister to be fired.
On Thursday, November 17, 2022, the opposition members in the minority in parliament moved a motion to censure the minister for finance.
After accepting the motion and rejecting a preliminary objection from the majority, the speaker sent it to an 8-person ad hoc committee to look into it and make suggestions to the house.
