2020 School Placement Release Date: The wait is nearly over

2020 School Placement release by the Ghana Education Service (GES) will usher the 2020 batch of BECE graduates into the secondary school level.
The only thing 2020 BECE graduates are waiting for is the release of their school placement status by GES.
The Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) is used for placing BECE graduates in secondary schools based on merit.
2020 Placement Release Hint From GES
The date for the release of placement according to the Ghana Education Service in its last update was late January 2021.
If the Pre-tertiary Education managers go by their last update, the school placements should be accessible to graduates on 29th January.
This date is a projection by this portal based on available data on days BECE, WASSCE, and CSSPS school placements are released.
The annual placement days have always being Fridays and may not change.
It’s important for stakeholders to note that the GES expects Free SHS1 students to report to school on 10th March 2021.

Based on the above this portal projects that the GES would release the 2020 basic school graduates school placement on one of the following dates.
a. 29th January 2021
b. 5th February 2021
c. 12th February 2021
WAEC released the 2020 BECE results on 16th November 2020. Over 500,000 candidates sat for the exams and have to be admitted into public and private SHS for their secondary education if they meet the minimum requirements per the CSSPS.
We wish all 2020 BECE graduates (Private and school candidates) the very best of luck as we wait anxiously for the release of their School placement status.
