The council in charge of administering national examinations (WAEC) has indicated that the 2021 Private BECE Start Date is April 12, 2021.
All candidates who successfully apply for the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) examination for private candidates will write the various subjects from the date given depending on the subjects registered for.

2021 edition of the BECE for Private Candidates will be held across the country to offer a second window of opportunity to students who did not pass their BECE for school candidates as well as private candidates who intend to take the examination.
Only applicants 16 years are above are eligible to sit for the examination. The council further disclosed that the 2021 Private BECE will be administered in 10 examination centres in the country.
Should the council not make any changes to the time and the standard practice in administering the Private BECE, the time table below may be followed.
