There are news making rounds that the 2022 BECE Timetable has been released by WAEC. Facts checked conducted by Ghanaeducation.org to authenticate the truth in the report show that the information is not entirely accurate.
WAEC is yet to release a new timetable, and the Minister of Education has indicated that the Ghana Education Service is yet to schedule a meeting with the West African Examination Council to agree on the new examination date and timetable for the 2022 BECE.
Explaining the issues, the Minister indicated that, the need to meet WAEC to come out with a new timetable was necessitated by the fact that the Junior High Schools now operate a semester timetable and not the usual trimester.
Until WAEC releases the new examination date and a new timetable, all other timetables indicating the BECE will commence on 15th November 2022 remain false and should be disregarded.
WAEC has however directed all Junior High Schools to start their 2022 BECE registration which commenced on 3rd May 2022.
