The #NSMQ2022 is Getting Interesting and the 2022 NSMQ Semi-Final Clashes Promise To Be Fireworks As The Pairing Have Attracted A lot Of Attention.
The Semi-Finals in themselves look like individual finals on their own, as the schools in each contest have an equal chance of progressing into the finals. The 2022 NSMQ Semi-Finals will be held on Sunday 23rd October 2022. Two of the 2021 finalists made it to the Semi-final, and they both look like meeting again in the finals. While Keta SHTS bowed out in the quarter-finals, Pressec Legon and Prempeh College have made it to the semis and have their eyes glued on annexing the trophy once more.
What are the schools in the 2022 NSMQ Semi-Final?
The Schools that made it to the Semi-Finals
- Presby SHS, Abetifi
- Si. James Sem. SHS
- St. Agustine’s College
- Mfantisipim School
- Kumasi High School
- Adisadel College
- Prempeh College
- Pressec Legon
- Opoku Ware School

Pundits and students have already started making their predictions as to the schools that will make it to the final.
Many are of the view that the first contest between Presby SHS – Abetifi, Mfantisipim School, and Prempeh College cannot be predicted however, Prempeh College would love to defend its 2021 title and retain the bragging rights. The Presby SHS – Abetifi Vs Mfantisipim School Vs Prempeh COLLEGE School is therefore the group of death at the semi finals.
According to some pundits of the NSMQ, Prempeh hasn’t been scary/extraordinary likewise Mfantsipim and Abetifi is the underdog albeit they could pull a surprise but on paper, it’s seemingly impossible because definitely one of the giants (either Botwe or Prempeh) would win. St. James has been phenomenal, kudos to Kuhis too, but it’s a done deal for PRESEC as many feel it will be a walk-in-the-park journey for Pressec into a final they can win this time round.
