2022 Private WASSCE registration starts today, update on Timetable

2022 Private WASSCE registration

The WAEC announcement that 2022 Private WASSCE registration starts on 23rd May 2022 will take effect today. The commencement of the 2022 NOV-DEC registration will offer potential candidates an opportunity to go through the laid down processes to register and participate in the examination as private candidates.

This year’s registration for the November/December (Nov/Dec) also known as the Private WASSCE will end on end on Tuesday August 16, 2022.

(WAEC) wishes to inform the general public that registration of candidates for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private candidates will commence on May 23, 2022, and end August 16, 2022,” The WAEC update given earlier indicated.

PRIVATE WASSCE NOV-DEC TIMETABLE UPDATE

A visit to the registration portal for the 2022 NOV-DEC showed that WAEC is yet to update the portal with more relevant information with regards to this year’s examination. The 2022 NOV-DEC is also not out. It is anticipated that, WAEC will update the portal for students and registration centres to commence the application process.

FAQs: WHAT IS THE 2022 PRIVATE WASSCE NOV-DEC FEE?

WAEC is yet to release the new fees to be paid by would-be candidates for the private WASSCE for 2022 however the 2021 examination fee can give a clear understanding of what candidates should expect. Note that the examination fee is likely to increase marginally from the 2021 fees below.

Candidates who offer subjects with oral/practical/project work components will pay additional fees as follows:
GH¢59.82 per subject for Practical Test
GH¢59.82 per subject for Project Work
GH¢43.07 per subject for Oral (English, Arabic and French)

FAQs:  WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR REGISTERING FOR THE 2022 PRIVATE WASSCE NOV-DEC?

Prospective candidates are to follow the steps below to register:
(1) Open the registration website: https://registration.ghanawaec.org/wassce/
(2) Select link to WASSCE for Private Candidates
(3) Click on START REGISTRATION HERE.
(4) Fill in the required security information data, i.e. password, security question, etc.
(5) Fill in your personal information.
(6) Upload your picture. (See Caption 9 for details)
(7) Upload your signature.
(8) Select the Region and the Centre where you wish to take the examination.
(9) Select the subject(s) you intend to write.
(10) Print your voucher and take it to any of the banks listed in Caption 16.
(11) Pay the appropriate fees at the bank.
(12) You will use your Invoice Number to access your Index Number and Admission later in the year.
