The Ministry of Education (MoE) has released the 2023 school placement for all candidates who wrote the 2022 BECE in October last year. The results of the school placement have been published on the official portal https://cssps.gov.gh/ for candidates, parents and the general public to access.
To assess the 2023 school placement released, you must have a valid school placement checker card with the voucher number and the pin.
Candidates who have been placed into one of the schools they chose or into a school based on their cluster options must printout the placement form and the enrolment form.
These two documents added to the 2022 BECE result slip plus four passport photographs will be needed to start the enrolment.
The school enrolment form is to be filled and sent to the candidate’s former Junior High School for the headteacher to endorse.
Candidates who were not placed but passed the exams and were given the option of self placement are encouraged to use the second window of opportunity provided them to choose a school, a program and an accommodation facility. They are then to print out the confirmed self placement school they chose.
However, for candidates who obtained grade 9 in English or mathematics were not placed, and they cannot start their Secondary Education this year. If they want to access free SHS that will be in 2024 after they have retake the BECE as a private BECE candidate and excel before they can go to school.
