The 2024 BECE date and timetable are out for all candidates in JHS3 (BASIC 9) preparing for the July examination however not all the subjects students are currently learning at the JHS level are on the time table.
The Ghana Education news consult earlier on projected that the 2024 BECE exam will start in the first week on July 2024 and per the released date that turned out to be true.
Which subject is not on the exam timetable?
Students are currently learning ten subjects but the subjects on the exam timetable released by WAEC are nine in number. The Creative Arts and Design subject is mission and could be merged by WAEC/GES for the Career Technology examinations.
It is anticipated that the GES will offer more explanation on why why students are studying Creative Arts and Design yet the subject is not going to be accessed per the released timetable.
If the Creative Arts and Design, its relevance to schools will diminished and schools may not teach it at the JHS level at all.
Now that the 2024 BECE Timetable is out, schools should lo0k out for the registration procedures, dates and requirements in the coming days.
