2024 GETFund Scholarship Guidelines And Disqualification Factors For Applicants
The 2024 GETFund Scholarship Portal is officially open, and in this post, we provide official guidelines for applicants as published by the GETFund. In addition, the factors that will lead to the disqualification of an applicant are also stated.
The 2024 GETFund Scholarship is open to all Ghanaians who are studying for their undergraduate and graduate programmes home and abroad.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS

Scanned copies of ;
- Proof of Nationality (Copy of Passport Biodata Page / National I.D Card)
- Admission letter clearly stating the program duration in it
- Approved Fee Schedule (2023/24 Academic Year) – if not stated in the letter of admission
- 1st degree certificate (Masters and PhD applicants), WASSCE and others for undergraduate applicants
- Other degree certificate (PhD applicants only)
- Previous transcript
- National Service Certificate where applicable
- Curriculum Vitae
Portal Open For New Applications (2023/24 Academic Year) Application GUIDELINES
- Fraudulence and misrepresentation will be subject to criminal proceedings.
- You are not permitted to apply for the same degree (Undergraduate, (Postgraduate) twice for which you have already received a scholarship.
- Providing incorrect information will result in automatic disqualification.
- Continuing students should indicate the entire duration of the programme, not just the remaining academic year.
- When signing up on the portal, ensure correct spelling of your names with the initial letter capitalized.
- Upload and label the necessary documents as instructed.
- Select the appropriate institutions and programmes accurately.
- Type your name exactly as it appears on your National Identification Card (Ghana Card). If there has been a change of name, attach supporting evidence (Gazette copy).
The following leads to automatic disqualification:
- Failure to complete your application.
- Failure to submit a completed application.
- Submitting multiple applications.
- Not meeting the stated requirements for application.
- Discrepancies between uploaded documents and the information provided in the application form.
- Conflicting identities in the uploaded documents.
- Selecting incorrect schools.
- Choosing incorrect programmes.
- Submission of blurred documents.
- Failure to submit documents in the required format.
