2024 WASSCE withheld results released by WAEC

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released all 2024 WASSCE withheld results for school candidates. Why WAEC is yet to officially make a public announcement, our check with several students whose results were withheld confirmed the report.
The Ghana Education News portal can confirm with certainty that 2024 WASSCE withheld results have been released by WAEC.
It is sad that many of the students whose results were withheld by WAEC suffered the withholding of their results because their school was suspected to have engaged in some form of wholesale examination malpractice. It will interest you to know that many of such students who had not committed any form of examination breaches for which WAEC withheld their results have only become victims of WAEC’s processes.
This poor decision by WAEC has denied many of these innocent students the chance to have their fair results and gain admission to tertiary institutions when the universities released admission for the 2024-2025 academic year.
When WAEC was used and called out to release the results of students it had withheld, it indicated that it was withholding the results and going through its investigative processes to ensure fairness; however, withholding the results of students who never engaged in any form of examination malpractices and never inviting them for investigations only to finally release their results cannot be deemed to be fairness.
Parents who have the results of their wards withheld by WAEC but were never invited to any WAEC investigations would have a good legal case at the court. We suggest that such parents seek legal counsel and sue WAEC for this act of withholding results of students who committed no crime whatsoever.
Students whose WASSCE 2024 results were withheld and who were invited by WAEC are also advised to check their results online.

Students who have exhausted the result checker usage and validity would need a new result checker to check the result all over again.
Schools that are also engaging in mass cheating activities during the WASSCE for school candidates must stop engaging in such activities.
How on earth do you teach students throughout their study and teach them to obey school-based examination rules, then turn around to lead them to engage in high-level examination malpractices that end up affecting many innocent students in the school?

Heads of public secondary schools and their associates who engage in these acts must bow their heads in shame.
The Ghana Education Service and the Ministry of Education must begin to apply the whip against all headmasters and mistresses of public secondary schools whose schools WAEC confidently confirms to have engaged in any form of mass cheating to serve as a deterrent; if not, it will continue forever.
