Dead body found in classroom at Galilea M/A 1 JHS

Students and staff of Galilea M/A 1 JHS arrived in school on 7th October, 2025 only to find a dead body in one of their classrooms.

The strange and shocking presence of the dead body threw the entire school into confusion and led to the halting of all school related activities.

The discovery while disrupting all school activities is also worrying.

The current state of the school building creates a condusive environment for people to sped the night in the classrooms. The school building is stil under constrcution. The classrooms do no have doors and windows hence both human and animals can inviade the class and school each time school closes.

Speaking to the media on the issue, a teacher of the school revealed that the remains of the unidentified man was seen in one of the classroom as students and teachers begun to report to school in the morning.

The incident has been made known to authorities however, they are yet to do something about it. The incident in addition to the delayed expected response has led to total disruption of activities in the school.

Such an incident will need collaboration between the police, traditional authorities and district or municipal assembly authorities or the area for the necessary traditional rites and onward transfer of the body to the morgue for autopsy and preservation.

The dead man can be seen sleeping under a mosquitoe net. Thus suggests that the ceceased has been sleeping in the classroom for some time now until his untimely death.
