One Teacher One Laptop Initiative: 2 Teacher Unions sue K.A Technologies, GES & others
The latest Ghana Education News is that Two Teacher Unions have sued K.A Technologies over One Teacher One Laptop initiative
The leadership of Innovative Teachers and All Teachers Alliance Ghana (ATAG) have sued K.A Technologies the company spearheading the government’s One Teacher One laptop initiative.
In a press statement issued by the two unions dated 12th November 2021 and sighted by Ghanaeducation.org, the defendants indicated that the suit was to question the capacity of K.A Technologies Limited as well as the contract to manufacture laptops under the One Teacher One laptop initiative.
The defendants per the press statement released are K.A Technologies Limited, The Attorney General, Ghana Education Service, and the Ministry of Education.

The press statement signed by Mr. Stephen Desus founder of Innovative teachers furthered that, full details of the suit would be made known to the general public later.

However, the two Innovative Teachers and All Teachers Alliance Ghana (ATAG) have been registered in Ghana as Trade Unions as of 30th July 2012.
