How to Link GCB Bank Account to Ghana Card

This article aims at assisting customers of GCB with the procedures to follow to link their GCB Bank Account to their Ghana Card.
This procedure does not require customers to be physically present at the banking hall.
Be informed that effective 1st July, the Bank of Ghana requires that all banks accept only the Ghana Card as a means of identification and so all financial institutions are working to update the records of their clients like you.

How to Link GCB Bank Account to Ghana Card
Follow the steps below to link the two numbers correctly.
Step 1: Log onto the GBC portal for this by going to https://epay.gcbltd.com:200/
Step 2: Click on the Link My Card option
Step 3: Enter your bank account correctly and click continue
Step 4: Choose the option to receive the Authorization Code either via email or text message (Phone)
Step 5: Enter the Authorization Code you received to verify that you are the owner of the account.
Step 6: Enter your Ghana Card ID number as required by the portal.
Step 7: Take a photo of the Ghana Card and upload it to the portal
Congratulations, you have linked your Ghana Card and GCB account numbers. However, if you have challenges, contact the nearest GCB office for assistance or call their customer service center. In a related development, know that the linking of your Ghana Card Number to your Phone number ends on 31st July 2022. Do your best to visit your service provider to complete the linking of both numbers ahead of the closing date. The government has indicated that the extended registration period will not be further extended.
