Beer truck crashes into NPP office at La, killing one
A tragic accident occurred in La, Ghana, when a Kia truck loaded with beer crashed into the New Patriotic Party (NPP) office, resulting in the loss of one life and injuries to several individuals. The accident, which took place on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, has been attributed to a loss of control over the vehicle, primarily due to brake malfunction.

A video shared on social media by Citi News captures the aftermath of the crash, revealing a portion of the NPP office building in a state of collapse. In response to the incident, local residents and fire service personnel worked together at the scene to manage the situation and provide assistance to those affected.
Promptly responding to the accident, the Ghana National Fire Service dispatched personnel to the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered the wreckage of a fully loaded beer truck that had plowed into the NPP office, resulting in a tragic loss of life.

ADO1 Alex Nartey, a member of the Public Relations Department of the Ghana National Fire Service, provided insights into the incident during an interview with Citi News. He stated that their response teams were able to rescue the casualties and address the situation successfully. In addition, he expressed his condolences to the family of the bereaved individual.
