The University of Technology Sydney’s Australian Government Research Training Program 2024 is open to international students from all over the world and is funded by Australian Government scholarships.

The institution of Technology Sydney is a public research institution based in Sydney, Australia. The Commonwealth Government Department of Education and Training funds the Australian Government Research Training Program, which offers stipends to highly ranked research students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and research potential.

The scholarship in Australia lasts two years for master’s degree programs and three years for doctoral degree programs. This award is valued at the above amount each year and is intended to help with general living expenses. The AGRTPS provides an overseas tuition cost offset, a living stipend, and Overseas Health Care coverage.

Eligibility

To qualify for an RTP stipend, a student must:

• To be eligible for the RTP Stipend, applicants must be pursuing a higher degree by research (HDR) at UTS in the relevant year.
• Additionally, they must not receive a benefit exceeding 75% of the RTP Scholarship stipend rate. Income generated outside the course of study is not subject to the 75% rule.
• Applicants must submit their completed application, including all required supporting material, before the applicable application date. Applications that are incomplete or late will not be accepted.
