Ethiopia, on the other hand, had its freedom before the scramble of the Europeans. It is believed that the strong military force that existed prevented the early Europeans from attacking them. The Ethiopian military helped to fend off the Italian attack of 1896.

Emperor Menelick II, who ruled the Kingdom of Ethiopia from 1889 to 1913, and his elders used multiple tactics and strategies to decline the introduction of colonisation into Ethiopia.

The cilvilization of Ethiopia can be traced far back to the fourth century BC, when the Yemenis came and settled on the lowlands of Ethiopia for their agricultural activities.

They mingled and intermarried with the people. This brought about the emergence of a new race of people known as Abyssinians.

The Abyssinians eventually spread to mountainous and lowland areas.

Ethiopia is known for its diverse and rich culture, and it is also known for its wonderful landscape, which includes the Nile Gorge.

Coffee is one of the crops that is mostly produced and exported in Ethiopia. The capital city of Ethiopia is Addis Ababa.
