Ghanaian comedian and actor Akwasi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobeto, has once again made waves on social media with his hilarious interview with Chelsea legend Ryan Bertrand. The interview was aired on UTV’s “The Real News” show on Friday, October 20, 2023.
Akrobeto, who is known for his funny pronunciation of English words and names, contacted Bertrand via video call and asked him about his career and achievements. He also congratulated him for winning the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea in 2012.
Bertrand, who currently plays for Leicester City, was very sporty and cooperative throughout the interview.
He answered Akrobeto’s questions with a smile and even corrected some of his mistakes. He also praised Akrobeto for his sense of humor and his popularity.

The interview has gone viral on social media, with many users expressing their admiration and amusement at Akrobeto’s antics and Bertrand’s patience.

This is not the first time that Akrobeto has interviewed a foreign football star on his show.
He has previously interviewed former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra and former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry.
He has also gained international fame for his funny rendition of sports news, especially the names of football clubs and players.
Akrobeto is one of the most popular and versatile comedians in Ghana. He started his career as a member of the Akan drama group and later ventured into movies and television.
He is currently the host of “The Real News” show on UTV, where he entertains viewers with his comic news presentation and interviews.
