“The country is bleeding,” she wrote on Twitter. How bad is it? We can’t live like this! Do you have trouble sleeping? Your friends and family aren’t telling you? You’ve let down every single citizen!”

Yvonne Nelson says that the president doesn’t care about what’s happening in Ghana. She talked about how the price of her medicine, which used to cost Ghc120, has gone up to Ghc273 or even Ghc300 at some stores.
“This eye drop (Xalacom) cost 120ghc, Mr. President @NAkufoAddo. It is now 273ghc and in some pharmacies even 300ghc. Every night, I have to do this. Without it, the pressure in my eye will rise, which will cause glaucoma,” she said. “Do you think many Ghanaians can afford this? Are you still president? Are you still living here? Does anyone seem to be crying? Are you really this cruel? No more campaigns coming up, so you don’t care? It’s clear that you don’t care about Ghanaians. Such a disappointment.”
