A letter to the Electoral Commission signed by Johnson Asiedu-Nketia indicated the Functions Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress formally requesting a refund of the deposit Made in respect of its presidential and parliamentary candidates.
Regulations 46 subsections 1 and 46 subsection 3 of the C1 17 to spell out the condition for a refund or forfeiture of deposit made by the presidential or parliamentary candidates a presidential or parliamentary candidate must obtain a minimum of 25% and 12.5% respectively in the general election to qualify for a refund we would be grateful if you could refund their deposit.
Mr. Asiedu-Nketiah also known as General Mosquito has been in the news in recent times. Publications suggest that, he has refused to heed advise from the former President, John Dramani Mahama not to contest for the post of National NDC chairman in the upcoming NDC national elections.
Mr. Koku Anyidoho has also thrown jabs at the former president suggesting that the former president is not the alternative to the problems of Ghana. “Ghana is in deep crisis: is John Dramani Mahama the alternative to our problems? Have we not witnessed his dead goat Presidency?” He quizzed on Twitter.

He has also alleged that he has been tagged as being anti-JM “They say I am, anti-JM: so, JM is pro-who? Is JM pro-Rawlings or pro-Atta-Mills? JM is pro-himself. I shall never support a selfish person” was his Tweet in relation to this.
