The Ghana Education Service has released the much-anticipated calendar for the basic schools for GK, Primary 1-6, and Junior High School 1-3
Facts about the new academic calendars
a. All three levels at the basic school level (KG, Primary, and JHS will vacate and reopen at the same time.
b. The academic year has been broken into four quarters with breaks in between them.
c. All three levels are using the semester approach with short breaks or midterms.
d. Pre School kids will be in school for more days than they are used to.
