Bloomberg claimed that government officials are planning for that Saturday in early June. Buckingham Palace refused to comment.
No further celebrations or holidays have been declared.
The major occasion will be 70 years after his mother’s 1953 coronation.
It will officially begin his reign, albeit he inherited it last month following Queen Elizabeth’s death.
Charles will turn 74, making him the oldest British monarch.
