District Level CCP Curriculum Training Programme Postponed
Information reaching GhanaEducaton.org indicates that the District Level CCP Curriculum Training has been postponed.
The Regional Education Directorate indicates that the CCP Curriculum Training is being rescheduled to start from a yet to be decided date.
The final decision on the subject will be taken on Tuesday, 5th January 2021.
MDDEs, Facilitators, JHS teachers, and all other staff concerned are to note this new development.
The Curriculum Training Programme postponed was the result of several factors. The issues that led to the postponement of according to our source were the poor treatment of teachers in terms of their allowances, accommodation, and other logistics issues.
The GES has further postponed the CCP Curriculum Training nationwide. The Curriculum Training Programme which has been postponed can create serious problems when schools reopen since teachers would not be equipped enough to teacher JHS1 to SHS1 students.
New dates are to be announced after all bottlenecks have been dealt with by the Ghana Education Service and NaCCA.
The same training is to be organized for some 380 master trainers for private schools. It is hoped that these 380 master trainers will be deployed to train teachers and management members of the various private schools in Ghana.
