An awesome journey nearly turned into a tragedy when armed robbers attacked driver and passengers on the Accra – Kumasi highway. CCTV footage showed everything that happened.

In the video which is making waves on the internet, the driver and passengers heading from Kumasi to Accra got stopped in the middle of the road at dawn. The armed men started shooting at the vehicle. The driver immediately reversed the vehicle. As the car was moving backward, the armed men continued shooting. No one was hurt as they reversed to a very safe location. However, other vehicles that were infront of the vehicle may have fallen victim.

Typically, armed robbers operate by ambushing vehicles at secluded or poorly lit stretches of the road. They may use makeshift roadblocks or employ sudden, aggressive tactics to force vehicles to stop.
