Champions League Draw 2023/24: Full Results And Date For Group-Stage Fixtures

Champions League Draw 2023/24

The 2023/2024 UEFA Champions League draw was held today, followed by the UEFA awards for both the men and women.

Honestly, the 2023/2024 UCL draw went in favour of Manchester City and FC Barcelona as they were drawn to less tough teams.

Manchester City, the current champion of the Champions League, will be looking forward to winning it back to back after they suffered a 1-0 loss to Chelsea in 2021 with a lone goal from Kai Havertz.

The current holders of the Champions League were drawn in the easiest group. As usual, Pep Guardiola’s magic of drawing with less tough teams worked today. Again, Manchester City were drawn in a group with RB Leipzig from the Bundesliga.

The fascinating aspect of this draw for Manchester City is, the Croatian wonder and centre-back, Josko Gvardiol will face his former club, RB Leipzig in the Champions League.

FC Barcelona on the other hand have no excuse to exit the group stage this time as they were drawn together with Porto, Antwerp, and Shakhtar Donetsk. The last time FC Barcelona faced Porto, 16-year-old Lionel Messi made his debut.

Correlating to this, Lamine Yamal is the new wonder kid for the Blaugrana, and all eyes are on him to perform magic in the Champions League for FC Barcelona.

Group F might be the group of death as top teams were drawn. Newcastle, AC Milan, Paris Saint Germain, and Borussia Dortmund were all drawn in group F.
