Christian Atsu’s Mortal Remains Arrives in Ghana: Live Streaming
Christian Astu’s mortal remains arrive in Ghana tonight, and we shall show provide live-streaming news on the short event.
Following the sad confirmation that Ghanaian International Football player Christian Atsu lost his life in the devastating Turkey-Syria Earthquake, the government of Ghana has announced that the remains of the former Black Stars player will touch base in Ghana today 19th February 2023.
According to the press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affair and Nation Integration, the remains of our beloved Christian Atsu will be received at 7:40 PM today in Ghana.
The mortal remains of the former Black Stars player will be accompanied by his family and Ghana’Ambassador to Türkiye on a Turkish Airlines flight.
His mortal remains will then be received by The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Government of Ghana when the plane arrives at the Kotoka International Airport.

Some Ghanaians has lambasted the GFA and government for failing to send a rescue team to help locate Atsu and that the government and the GFA preferred to spend on dead than the living.
Following the sad demise of the Black Stars winger, many condolences have poured in from the football fraternity around the world, with all matches played in the EPL observing a minute silence before matches played on 18th and 19th February 2023.
The Crime Check Foundation and other individuals who have benefited from Christian Astu’s kind gesture and support have now become public knowledge. While alive, Astu dedicated his earnings and efforts toward helping those who had been imprisoned for minor offenses and those who could not pay fines imposed on them by the courts, for which reasons they had to waste precious lives in prison.
His support of the Crime Check Foundation led to the redemption of many prisoners in Ghana.
