Economic Maguire: NDC MPs Give Dr. Bawumia A New Name
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is one leading economist in Ghana. He worked for the bank of Ghana before his appointment as a running mate by Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo in the 2012 General elections. The new patriotic party lost in 2012. But their good effort made them win the election 2016 and 2020 elections.
The second term of Dr. Bawumia and Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo is encountering some administrative challenges. The economic sector is getting out of hand and Ghanaians are lamenting over the rapid increase in the prices of goods and services.
The NDC members in Parliament specifically Honorable Adongo have released a new name for Dr. Bawumia. According to Honorable Adongo, the new name for Dr. Bawumia is Economic Maguire. Honorable Adongo linked Bawumia to Maguire who is a footballer and claimed that the Vice President of Ghana is managing the economy of the country just like how Maguire plays for Manchester United Defense in England.
