Eminent Guest Lecture Series: Terror, Regional Security and Elections
The University of Professional Studies, Accra, is organizing Lecture Series titled the Eminent Guest Lecture Series, which focuses on Terror, Regional Security, and Elections.
The upcoming event is the maiden edition of the Eminent Guest Lecture Series lead by the UPSA Law School.
This is a high-level forum that seeks to create a platform for the free exchange of ideas in an academic environment. The event is expected to have participants from around the world, but with emphasis on Ghana as we head into the December 2020 general elections.

Speakers at the first Eminent Guest Lecture Series
His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Ibn Chambas, Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS) will be one of the high-profile speakers at the event which will be held online.
The lecture and discussion will focus on the dynamics of elections, terrorism, and sub-regional security under the topic Terror, Regional Security, and Elections.

UPSA Admission Closing Date Updates
UPSA Admission closing deadline for undergraduate programmes (Diploma and Degree) is now 30th November 2020 after the school extended the period to enable WASSCE, GBCE and ABCE candidates whose results have just been released to apply.
The admission window will remain open for undergraduate and diploma programmes for the 2020/2021 Academic until the end of November. For those seeking to study at the Diploma level, the entry requirement is A1-D7.
