Since moving to the Premier League for £51 million from Borussia Dortmund, the Norwegian superstar has set the league on fire. He is now getting a huge sum, which makes him by far the highest-paid player in the country.

It is known that the 22-year-old gets a basic salary that is about the same as what the other top earners at the Etihad Stadium get. But he gets a series of big bonuses that are almost guaranteed to make his weekly pay go over £850,000.

This newspaper said that City beat out a lot of other clubs and made a deal with the powerful striker’s representatives in April.

The fee was low because of a release clause in his contract with the German club. At the time, it was thought to be a good deal for a player who was thought to be the best young player in Europe.
