The Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES) in an interview on UTV’s Mpu ne Mpu show gave assured the public that the 2020 BECE school placement will be released on February 28th, 2021.
Dr. Professor Kwasi-Opoku Amank granting the interview today Friday, February 26 the delayed placements will be released on Sunday.
“We can assure parents, candidates, and members of the general public that the 2020 SHS placement will be released on Sunday, February 28, 2021,” he said on the UTV Mpu ne Mpu show.
According to him, the delay was due to the increase in covid-19 cases. He added that the GES is working to ensure stakeholders have an error-free school placement season.

He attributed the delay of the school placement to the unexpected outbreak and a sudden rise in the country’s locally transmitted coronavirus cases.
In an earlier publication, we predicted in an opinion article that, the GES will release the results in 72 hours. Stakeholders look forward to the 2020 BECE school placement on Sunday.
