FBNBank Women’s Network supports girls education
The FBNBank Women’s Network, in a remarkable show of support for girls’ education, has teamed up with the Girls Education Initiative Ghana (GEIG) in a corporate social responsibility venture aimed at empowering women and girls.

Grace Isaac-Aryee, the Chairperson of the FBNBank Women Network, announced a generous donation of GH¢20,000 to GEIG, marking a significant milestone in the network’s efforts to commemorate International Women’s Day.
Isaac-Aryee, who also serves as the Treasurer, expressed profound joy over the network’s collective action translating into a tangible impact on the community.
She emphasized that the donation signifies the network’s steadfast commitment to advancing education and gender equality, principles deemed essential for true empowerment.

Elizabeth Akua Nyarko Patterson, the Founder and Executive Director of GEIG, expressed her gratitude for the donation, highlighting it as an investment in the future impact of GEIG and the dreams and aspirations of countless girls.
The funds are earmarked for covering the school fees of 10 GEIG tertiary scholars, furthering the organization’s mission to bridge the educational gap for girls in Ghana.
Since its inception, GEIG has played a pivotal role in enabling 65 students to progress from basic education to higher education through financial support.
Moreover, the initiative has impacted over 45,000 community members through extensive mentorship and leadership training, demonstrating the transformative power of education and empowerment.
