How the Free SHS Food Supply Thieves Were Caughted In the Act
In an unexpected turn of events, Apostle Ekatso, a well-known traditionalist and herbalist on social media, found himself in the midst of a potentially scandalous situation involving the Tsito Senior High School bus. While travelling through Sorkorde Gborgame, Ekatso stumbled upon the school bus parked by the roadside, actively offloading cartons of tin tomatoes. These tomatoes were supposed to be part of the students’ meals under the Free SHS initiative.
A taxi was also at the scene, with its driver loading these very cartons into his vehicle. Sensing something was amiss, Apostle Ekatso decided to take action. He recorded the incident, capturing the moment for posterity and accountability. His immediate concern was the welfare of the students, fearing that food intended for their nourishment was being diverted for other purposes.
Ekatso voiced his concerns loudly, stating that such actions are detrimental not only to the students but to the broader educational landscape of Ghana. He argued that while government policies like the Free SHS are crucial, individual misconduct can undermine these efforts. “It’s not always the government’s fault,” Ekatso remarked, “sometimes, it’s the individuals who act dishonestly.” He was clear in his intent to report the matter to the police, even noting down the taxi driver’s car number for evidence.
This incident has sparked a significant discussion about accountability and integrity in the management of school resources, particularly under programs like Free SHS. The intervention by Apostle Ekatso has brought this issue to light, prompting questions about the oversight of food supplies intended for students.

UPDATE ON THE DIVERTED FREE SHS FOOD SUPPLY
“Good evening, house. It is very unfortunate to see our bus involved in the above scandal.
Moving forward, I placed a call to the school bursar to get firsthand information on the said incident. It is clear that our school went to the supply center at Mawuli School for the items in question. According to records, the school bus collected cartons of Tintomatos and Tonbrown.
Specifically, Tsito Sec. Tech. was allocated 50 cartons of Tintomatos, while Awusco received 150 cartons. The school bus took delivery of a total of 200 cartons (50 for Tsito Sec. Tech. and 150 for Awusco) along with Tonbrown for the two schools. Records show that the bus delivered the items to their respective schools as expected, and stock was taken upon delivery.
The circulating information indicates that the storekeeper at the supply center instructed the driver to offload an additional 100 cartons at a separate location. This additional delivery had no connection to the consignments meant for Tsito Sec. Tech. or Awusco.
The driver simply carried out the assignment given to him to offload the 100 cartons at the specified location. This was not part of the consignments for either school. The storekeeper and the supply center are responsible for explaining the instructions they gave to the driver.
This is the reality of the situation currently circulating.
Thank you.

This incident underscores the need for vigilance, transparency, and accountability in educational resource management. The Old Students Association, through their prompt response, highlights the importance of ensuring that students are not deprived of essential supplies meant for their education and well-being.
The involvement of a figure like Apostle Ekatso in this matter not only brings attention to potential malpractices but also emphasizes the role of community members in safeguarding public resources for the youth’s benefit. Let’s hope that this leads to stronger systems and integrity in the delivery of educational services across Ghana.
