Freezy Macbones Ditches Ghana To Represent UK

London-based Despite initially requesting a license from the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) to fight for the West African nation, boxing sensation Seth Gyimah, also known as Freezy MacBones, left Ghana to fight for the United Kingdom.
The 33-year-old changed his mind when the association responded to his application, just before his well-known fight that made headlines a few weeks ago, according to GBA President Abraham Neequaye.
Neequaye said to Romeo TV, “We sent him a message and he can confirm it. He travelled to Ghana to obtain a license from the Ghana Boxing Authority before his fight in the UK.
When it came time to get a release letter from us, he came for our license but changed his mind and decided to fight as a UK citizen.
After defeating Darryl Sharp at the London-based Copper Boxing Arena in April, the boxer attained national recognition.
