Today, the ad-hoc committee set up by the Speaker of Parliament to hear the finance Minister defend himself against the grounds for which the Minority has asked a vote of censure against him. During the committee sitting, the co-chairmen, Honorable Kobina Tahir Hammond and Honorable Dominic Ayine exchanged some words on their experience in law.

K. T Hammond: Nonsense..When were you called to the bar?
Dominic Ayine: I was called to the bar in October 1995
K. T Hammond: And you call yourself a senior? I was called to the bar of England and Wales in 1991
Dominic Ayine: Well, an English Lawyer has no license to practice in Ghana.
K. T Hammond: I was exempted from the whatever here and granted my exemption to practice in Ghana’s bar
Dominic Ayine: When were you called to the bar?
K. T Hammond: And you said what? 1996? I was granted an exemption in 1997. Do not take me for a baby. 1991
Dominic Ayine: Well, you are two years younger than me
