Gabby Otchere Darko caught on camera giving “Apor” co-chairs Hon KT Hammond (Video)

Gabby Otchere Darko was caught in action trying to give “Apor” to one of the co-chairs Hon KT Hammond during the parliamentary committee hearing.
This video was captured during the Censure Committee sitting yesterday as the committee started hearing the Vote of Censure allegations levelled against the Minister of Finance, Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta.
A video circulation on social media shows Gabby Otchere Darko, council for Minister of Finance, Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta alerting the co-chair, Hon. KT Hammond to take a look at his phone for some information.
It is not clear what the information was however, such acts during an important sitting by the Speaker of Parliament, established committee does not help our democracy.
The independence of the leadership of the committee may be questioned when such video footages show clearly that the legal process and powers invested in the committee seem to be manipulated by other persons who directly or indirectly have an interest in the ongoing committee sittings.
Ghanaians have reacted to the approach of the co-chair, Hon KT Hammond’s performance at the first sitting. From all indications, many Ghanaians are not excited by his leadership skills displayed during the sitting.
