The Ghana Education Service (GES) has directed its regional directors to provide data on staff allowances for the 2019 and 2020 school years.
This was contained in a letter to all regional directors dated 19th April 2021.
GES 2019-2020 data on staff allowances -Details Required
The management of the education service is expecting district directors to collate and submit to its head office through the regional director’s data on all qualified beneficiaries of Transfer grants, Car Maintenance, and other allowance for 2019 and 2020.
It further directed that the data collected should be sent in both soft and hard copy forms.
“All Regional Directors are kindly requested to inform District Directors to collate and submit data on qualified beneficiaries of the Transfer Grant, Car Maintenance and other allowances for the 2019 and 2020, with supporting documents to their respective Regional Directors latest by 30th April 2021.” The letter stated.
The data must be accompanied by valid supporting documents using the templates available for reporting such information on staff.

The GES staff allowances data collected must reach the Director-General not later than 15th May 2021, the letter added.
