The GES 2026 Teacher Recruitment Portal Is Live Now. Teachers are to expect a new update from the Ghana Education Service soon.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) officially released the timeline for its ongoing recruitment process, providing clarity for thousands of applicants seeking to join the national service. The GES is expected to employ some 7,000 teachers. Per the timelines, teachers were to know their fate by July 20, 2026, if the official announcement of shortlisted candidates had gone through as per the GES; however, that has not happened.

It was furthered that 20th July to 31st August, 2026, will be dedicated to the onboarding process at the regional and district levels. At the time of filing this news, the GES had not released an official communication on the issue.

2. Enter your valid Ghana Card ID
3. Enter your Application ID
4. Click on the “Result” button on the homepage.
5. Log in using your Ghana Card Number and Application ID.
6. Click on “Buy Voucher” and wait for the payment prompt.
7. Complete the required payment to purchase the recruitment results checker voucher.
8. After a successful payment, enter your Voucher Code.
9. Click “Login” to view your recruitment status, appointment details, and any further instructions provided on the portal.

In a recent communication, the management of the GES expressed its gratitude to all applicants for their interest in contributing to the country’s educational sector. The Service confirmed that it is currently in the midst of a rigorous review process to ensure that all submitted applications meet the established eligibility criteria outlined in the original recruitment advertisement.

Key Recruitment Milestones Given By The GES.

The Service has outlined a clear path forward for successful candidates, with key dates as follows:

June 30, 2026: Completion of the application review phase.

July 20, 2026: Official announcement of shortlisted candidates.

July 20 – August 31, 2026: Onboarding and placement process at the Regional and District levels.

Successful applicants are scheduled to officially assume their duties on August 31, 2026.

The recruitment process is being conducted according to the following schedule:

• By 30th June, 2026: Review of applications completed

• By 20th July, 2026: Announcement of shortlisted candidates done
