GES after it asked staff of the Service qualified to be promoted to the grades of Deputy Director, Assistant Director I, Assistant Director II and Principal Superintendant to submit applications has opened the application promotion portal.

The Education Service in a statement said the completed application form should be uploaded on the teachers application promotion portal no later than Thursday, September 23, 2021.

Qualification:

1. Deputy Director: An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Assistant Director I on or before December 2016 and should have been continuously at post since the date (except for periods for leave)

2. Assistant Director I: An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Assistant Director II on or before December 2016 and should have been continuously at post since the date (except for periods for leave)

3. Assistant Director II: An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Principal Superintendant I on or before December 2016 and should have been continuously at post since the date (except for periods for leave).

4. Principal Superintendant: An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Senior Superintendant I on or before December 2016 and should have been continuously at post since the date (except for periods for leave).

Mode of Application:

1. Applicant should complete the application form online and upload a passport-sized photograph as well.

2. An applicant should only upload the last promotion letter, upgrading letter or appointment letter

3. An applicant should upload only a Master’s/Doctorate degree certificate when using it for his/her promotion.

4. All documents uploaded should be in PDF format with the exception of the passport photograph

5. All documents uploaded should be clear and readable.

According to the Education Service, staff who fail to submit the necessary requirements on the deadline will be disqualified. “Completed application form after September 23, 2021, deadline will not be accepted.”
